GHF PRESIDENT

Kehkashan Basu, M.S.M., MBA is an iconic global influencer, educator, environmentalist, champion of women and children’s rights, TEDx speaker, Climate Reality Mentor, author, musician, peace and sustainability campaigner. She is the recipient of Canada's Meritorious Service Medal and the only Canadian to win the International Children’s Peace Prize. A Forbes 30 Under 30, Kehkashan is a United Nations Human Rights Champion, a National Geographic Young Explorer, a UNCCD Land Hero, a UN Habitat Young City Champion, the Regional Organizing Partner for North America for the NGO Major Group and one of Canada's Top25 Women of Influence. She has spoken at over 500 United Nations and other global fora. Kehkashan has an MBA from Cornell University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.

GHF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Pragna Vasupal is the Director of Events of Green Hope Foundation. She has a Master's in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Dubai. Pragna has been an active part of Green Hope Foundation for over a decade with experience in outreach, advocacy and implementation of sustainability workshops and conferences, using Education for Sustainable Development.

Swati Basu is the Director and Chief Financial Officer at Green Hope Foundation since its inception and has been working in the field of sustainability for over 40 years. She holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Honours and Bachelor of Education degree from the Loreto College Kolkata. She is an ardent advocate of the Sustainable Development Goals and works to localize them at the ground-level. 

Bhavna Lakhani has over 30 years of experience in retail management and sustainability. Throughout her tenure at Green Hope Foundation, she has worked on energy efficiency, sustainable sourcing, circular bio-economy, waste management and consumer education while advocating for greater corporate social responsibility.

Bhavna is very passionate about protecting the planet and works tirelessly for a peaceful and climate-smart sustainable world.

Erin Isabel is the Director of Outreach of Green Hope Foundation. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the 
Carnegie Mellon University. Erin has been an active part of Green Hope Foundation for a decade. She has conducted scores of climate education workshops along with the Green Hope Foundation team, focussing on educating young people about feminist policies and just transitions.
